Thank you for contacting us about our product line. While we are always expanding the range of sizes and configurations available, I’m sorry to say we currently do not make lenses that meet your needs or have a timetable when they may be available.

Your comments help us assess and meet consumer requirements, and I have passed your request along to the appropriate people here at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. As technology advances, perhaps we will be able to serve your specific needs in the future. In the meantime, your Eye Care Practitioner is the person best qualified to determine what steps to take for your vision needs. Thank you for your interest.

Question

Why do my contacts seem to stop working after 8 hours?

They do ok for the first part of the day, but by early afternoon they seem to wear off. Things get very blurry and it's almost like I"m not wearing them. Is there anything I can do to improve this?

Thank you for your question. Contact lens discomfort can take many forms and have many causes. The best way to find out why your eyes are uncomfortable, and what you can do about it, is to talk to your eye doctor and follow his or her advice.

Thank you for your question. Some ACUVUE® Brand lenses can be worn while you sleep. For example, ACUVUE® OASYS™ for ASTIGMATISM have been approved by the FDA for extended wear, which means they can be worn for six night/seven days consecutively. However, the risk of certain eye problems is higher with overnight wear. Only your eye doctor can determine if sleeping in your contact lenses is right for you and provide you with information on proper use.

Question

I have a minor astigmatism in my eyes but was prescribed regular lenses...

On my prescription it states I am -100 (SPH), -50 (CYL) and 108 (axis) in one eye and -100 (SPH), -50 (CYL) and 92 (axis) in the other. I was trying to see if I could get the ACUVUE with Astigmatism since my vision is sometimes blurry with regular contacts but I noticed the Axis only runs in 10's and the CYL starts at -75. Am I still able to wear ACUVUE with Astigmatism and what would be the measurements recommended?

Question

Do you offer the Acuevue Oasys Astigmatism in CYL -3.00?

I have a rx of CYL-3.00 in my left Eye. Do you offer this? The free trial pair form drop down box only goes to -02.25!

Also My Right eye has a rx of SPH -06.75, the free trial pair form only indicates SPH range - 06.50 and -07.00, not -06.75! Will you be offering this product to meet my vision needs?

Thank you for your interest in Acuvue Brand Contact Lenses. We manufacture parameters to cover a very wide range of possible prescriptions. In fact, we offer prescriptions that cover the majority of prescriptions that people need. However, we are not able to meet every need. We regret not being able to offer a lens that meets your needs and apologize for any inconvenience. Please ask your eye doctor about your options.

Thank you for your question! ACUVUE® ™ Brand Contact Lenses all feature visibility tint.
Lenses are lightly tinted blue so you can spot them in your lens case.

While we are always expanding the range of sizes and configurations available, I’m sorry to say we currently do not make lenses that meet your needs.

Maybe. Only your eye doctor can tell you for certain. Be sure to discuss this at your next appointment. If your eye doctor feels that contacts are still an option, we believe that ACUVUE® Brand is an excellent choice.
